NVIDIAwill report its Q3 results after today's closing bell, followed by management's conference call.

The Capital IQ consensus expects the GPU manufacturer to report a 14.1% yr/yr decrease in EPS to $1.58 on an 8.2% yr/yr decrease in revenue to $2.92 bln.

Shares of NVIDIA have climbed nearly 40% since the release of Q2 results versus a 20% rally in the PHLX Semiconductor Index.

TECHS:

NVIDIA trades at 30.5x forward earnings expectations, which represents a discount to AMD's 36.5x forward multiple.
