Boeing (BA) is set to report Q2 results tomorrow before the open (last quarter they released at 7:30am ET) with a call to follow at 10:30am ET.
The CapitalIQ consensus estimate for Q2 core EPS (non-GAAP) is $1.90 and for revenue it's $19.23 bln.
BA had beaten EPS consensus estimates for ten quarters in a row, with double digit EPS beats eight of those 10 times.
However, BA reported an EPS miss in Q1, which was a surprise. It will be interesting to see if another miss is in the offing or BA gets back to reporting EPS upside.
Boeing provided an update that they will incur a $4.9 bln after-tax charge in Q2 for 737 MAX disruptions last week.
TECHS:
BA has been rangebound in the $340-380 area over the past few months.
The recent weakness appears related to the 737 MAX troubles. This quarterly report will be BA's second since all of these MAX issues became a problem.
